Police want the public’s help to trace the owner of two dogs who bit a man.

The 45-year-old man, from Keighley, was walking along Pinhaw Road, Skipton, when two Staffordshire Bull Terriers – one black and one brown – attacked his dog.

As the man tried to get the Terriers, he was bitten on the thumb. He did not require hospital treatment.

Officers are appealing to anyone who can help them to identify the owner of the dogs, to contact PC Andrew Hanks on 101, email andrew.hanks@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting reference number 12130119575.
