One of the city’s most renowned attractions is offering people the chance to go and explore for free this summer.
The Council has teamed up with the Friends of Bradford Art Galleries and Museums to find out more about the history of Cartwright Hall and its collections.
A series of free tours have been organised at the civic art gallery, which houses a programme of contemporary exhibitions, including one by sculptor Jake Harvey, alongside four permanent galleries that display works from Bradford Museums' collections.
The first tour will be on Sunday, between 2.15pm and 3pm. Entry is free but it is necessary to make a reservation on (01274) 431212.
There will be additional tours on Sunday, August 25, and Sunday, September 22, between 2.15-3pm.
Councillor Susan Hinch-cliffe said: “We're really grateful to the Friends group for lending their expertise and time to organise these tours.
“It's a wonderful opportunity to find out more about the history and collections housed in Cartwright Hall.”
