Bradford firefighters were kept busy with numerous fires across the district in the last few hours including a major house blaze in Undercliffe.
At 2.50am today four crews were called to the house fire in Northallerton Road with persons reported.
No-one was found in the house which was badly damaged in the blaze.
A fire investigation team is at the scene trying to establish the cause.
Fairweather Green station has been busy with a fire in the open on Brooksbank Street at 10.50pm yesterday. They were called again at 12.22am today after a sofa was set alight outside a house in Back St Mary's Road West, Manningham and spread to the house.
The back of the house is damaged and a gas pipe was ruptured so the gas board had to come and isolate the gas because it was leaking.
Three occupants escaped from the blaze after the smoke alarms went off.
Then crews were called to Thornton Road, but that proved to be a false alarm. A shed was also on fire in Quaker Lane at 4.04am and that is believed to have been set alight deliberately.
