Children at five primary schools in Bradford district will battle it out in an ‘It’s a Knockout’ final at Shipley Pool tomorrow.
A total of 120 pupils at St Joseph’s in Keighley, Priestthorpe and Crossflatts in Bingley, and Hill Top in Bradford, will contest defending champions East Morton.
The final will run from 5.15pm until 7.30pm, in which time the five teams will compete in four or five water-based games involving skill, teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of splashing.
Medals, prizes and goodies will be given to all children and the overall winners will be presented with a trophy.
Councillor Andrew Thornton, Bradford Council’s executive member for sport and leisure, said: “This competition has been very successful in recent years and I'm sure this year will be no different.”
