A group set up to ensure the future of Wilsden gala holds its first meeting on Monday.
The gala committee was set up by Lisa Firth after the event was called off for the second time in three years due to a lack of volunteers.
She put a call out for help to bring it back next year and the group will get together for the first time on Monday to discuss ideas and ways of finding enough volunteers to keep the event going.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm in Wilsden Village Hall. Anyone wanting to help can go along or e-mail lisa@ lisafirtheditorial.co.uk
