Northern Ballet is offering audiences the opportunity to ‘try before you buy’ by going behind the scenes to a rehearsal.
The event takes place at the company’s headquarters at Quarry Hill, Leeds, on Wednesday, August 14, from from 5.40pm to 6.30pm, offering the chance to enjoy a sneak preview of latest production A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The event offers a taste of the production, which runs at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in September, and the opportunity to see Northern Ballet’s dancers up close.
Northern Ballet chief executive Mark Skipper says: “This is a great opportunity for people to sample A Midsummer Night’s Dream and see for themselves the transformation that takes place during a ballet’s journey from the rehearsal room to the stage. We are proud of our reputation for producing ballets that reach diverse audiences and we’re committed to opening up opportunities for as many people as possible to experience our work.”
Booking is essential and tickets are available on (0113) 2208008.
