A caravan storage business will not be allowed to expand its Wilsden premises after council planning officers deemed the plans “inappropriate.”
Kurt Kunz had applied for permission to change the use of an area of agricultural land next to Coppice Cottage on Lee Lane to allow for the storage of more caravans.
The number would increase from 90 to 125 if plans had been approved.
Wilsden Parish Council had supported the application, and Bradford Council received no objections.
But planning officers refused it, saying: “It is not felt that any special circumstances have been put forward to warrant such a significant increase in size and the proposal is considered to be inappropriate development in the greenbelt.”
