Enthused by a performance of Shakespeare’s The Tempest at St George’s Hall in Bradford, youngsters at a primary school decided they would have a go at The Bard themselves.
The result was A Midsummer Night’s Dream, staged by children in years five and six at Bradleys Both Primary School, near Skipton.
Teaching assistant Sophie Exley said: “It was a version adapted for young people with songs and some Shakespearean language.”
And class teacher Lee Baker said: “Every child in the two classes - 35 in all - have a role to play and all are costumed. They have loved it.”
