Youngsters can keep holiday boredom at bay in a pirate-themed fun day in Cleckheaton.
‘Shiver Me Timbers’ involves Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook and Peter Pan shows, free face painting, craft workshops and a treasure hunt through the town centre.
The event runs from 10am until 4pm on Saturday August 3 and youngsters can also join the summer reading challenge at Cleckheaton Library and Information centre in Whitcliffe Road, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
