Ryecroft Primary Academy in Holme Wood is having a carnival-themed week before the end of term on Friday. Circus skills, costume design, graffiti, creative writing with Conrad Burdekin and other activities are lined up with a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield organised for the whole school tomorrow. On Friday, pupils will be putting on a short carnival parade.
