Two directors of an award- winning Keighley business can add another string to their bow after finishing first in a charity race.
Allan Barker and Gavin Carter from AGR Racking were part of the team that finished first at the Windermere Row 2013.
With friends Jamie Kemp and Dan O’Conner, the team, called the Oarsome Foursome rowed ten miles of the lake.
The annual race raises money for St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds.
They beat around 100 other boats to claim the title of fastest all-male crew.
The group has already raised over £500 for the charity, with more money to come in.
AGR, based in Chapel Works, was awarded Best New Business at this year’s Telegraph & Argus Bradford Means Business awards.
Mr Barker said: “It is a great cause and we had a brilliant weekend.
“It was a brilliant opportunity to have a laugh with your mates and help a good cause at the same time.”
