Children can have seaside fun to match the sunny weather now a new sandpit has been delivered to a Shipley school. The pit was a prize for Shipley CE Primary School, which won a national competition last month. Four-year-old Ismaeel Ali painted a picture of a smiling sun which took first place in the SunSense sunscreen competition. In June each class received a bottle of sun cream and the design was made into T-shirts for pupils.
