Bradford was in the top ten of authorities across the UK where more people moved out than in last year.
Internal migration statistics, released by the Office of National Statistics yesterday, show around 4,000 more people left the district than arrived in the year ending June 2012.
Newham, for the fourth successive year, had the largest net outflow of all local authorities in England and Wales.
There, 8,400 more people left than arrived.
Bradford was fourth in the table, after Ealing and Brent.
Around 13,500 people entered the city from other local authority areas, while 17,500 left.
