A minister from Africa paid a visit to Eastburn Junior and Infant School. Pastor Ivan Lugolobi, who runs a “revival” school in Mattuga, Uganda, led an assembly and visited children in class, where he spoke about the similarities between school life in Eastburn and in the African country.
Mr Lugolobi’s school, which caters for primary and secondary pupils, was set up for orphans in Mattuga and it includes a farm where pupils grow their own food and look after livestock.
