A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to a community order after police found a bag of cannabis at his home.
Saffur Zahid, of Belle Vue, Manningham, Bradford, pleaded guilty to possession of 111 grams of the class B drug.
Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday that police went to his home on December 17 last year after reports of a burglary.
Zahid told them he bought the drug in bulk for himself and the court heard there was no suggestion that he supplied it to anyone else.
Zahid was sentenced to a 12-month community order, with supervision and a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement.
Judge John Potter said the order would help Zahid to address his problem with cannabis.
