The search is on for aspiring young film writers to provide scripts for full- length feature films.
The Co-operative British Youth Film Academy (BYFA) is looking for new works or a contemporary re-telling of an old classic for three new movies scheduled to be shot next summer.
BYFA is a co-operative of 20 colleges and universities – including Bradford College – and gives 14 to 25-year-olds unique opportunities to experience the thrills and challenges of a real film set.
The new scripts will be made into movies during The Co-operative British Youth Film Academy’s film-making summer camps in 2014.
BYFA is looking for a one-page synopsis with cast list and character descriptions, along with a complete script and contact details. Scripts must be sent to BYFA@co-operative.coop before July 1. Visit britishyouthfilmacademy.com for more details.
