Bradford City supporters did their club proud as they turned out in their thousands to honour their heroes tonight.

Masses of Bantams packed into City Park and Centenary Square to roar their appreciation for Phil Parkinson and his Wembley wonders, who took part in an open-top bus parade after winning promotion to League One.

Anticipation and excitement had built throughout the afternoon in the city centre and reached a crescendo with a deafening roar that sent a shiver down the spine when the players arrived in City Park.

Fans chanted, waved flags, sounded horns and created an electric atmosphere in keeping with City's magical season, while the two buses carrying City staff bounced as players danced and got in the party mood.

Manager Phil Parkinson thanked every supporter for being there and backing City throughout the season - before promising that the journey would continue next season.
