A comedy drama co-written by an actress from Otley will be shown on TV next week.
Stage Door Johnnies, which shines a light on the often hilarious lives of five zealous theatre fans, is the work of Laura Power and writing partner Catherine McCormack.
Laura, who went to school in Otley and Menston and appeared in recent Hollywood disaster movie The Impossible, says the inspiration for the show came from her experiences in theatre.
Stage Door Johnnies, directed by Catherine, will be shown on Sky Arts 1 at 9pm on Thursday, May 23, as part of the channel’s Playhouse Presents series.
