Teddy bears are getting ready to come out and play for this year’s Born in Bradford picnic.
The sixth annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic takes place in Lister Park, Manningham, on Wednesday, May 29, from 11.30am-3pm.
Hospital and health care providers will be providing stalls to publicise their health services to Bradford families across all communities and all areas of the district.
They will be joined by staff from the Council and voluntary services offering advice and information to the parents while the children play.
The Born in Bradford project began recruiting in March 2007, with researchers asking every mum who gave birth at Bradford Royal Infirmary to join the project, which aims to improve the health of children, by finding out what makes them ill.
A total of 13,857 children signed up to the study which is the biggest of its kind in the world.
