Plans have been revealed for traffic calming around the entrance to a new housing development in Silsden.

Keighley Area Committee will discuss proposed measures to improve safety on the stretch of Skipton Road at a meeting on Thursday.

They include a priority system to slow traffic approaching the junction.

There would also be an extension to the existing footway and new road signs.

Planning permission was given two years ago by Bradford Council to build eight new houses on the site, known as Crossfield.
