The Friends of Ilkley Moor have unveiled their latest Events and Learning Programme in an effort to help more people gain an understanding of the iconic landscape.

A total of 27 events are to be held as part of the programme, which runs from May to September. The programme also includes working activity days on footpaths and conservation days such as bracken control work and clearing brambles.

Themes for the events range from bird and bat spotting to archaeology, geology and flora and fauna walks.

The Friends have also published three additional heritage walks route guides.

The programme of events and details of the walks can be downloaded from ilkleymoor.org or collected from Ilkley Visitor Information Centre and Ilkley Library.
