People are being encouraged to join the Big Dig this month in Cliffe Castle Park, in Keighley.
Volunteers will tidy up the Beechcliffe end of the park, known as the Enclosure, and prune some of the shrubs.
They will also plant foxgloves and discuss the possibility of setting up a community allotment.
The Big Dig, part of a national campaign, is being organised by the Cliffe Castle Park Conservation Group.
The group organises many events in the park and worked closely with Bradford Council on the recently-supported bid for lottery cash four-part improvements.
The Big Dig will be held on March 16 from 10.30am to 1.30pm. People should meet at 10.30am by the Garden of Life in the Beechcliffe Enclosure.
The conservation group will provide tools, and asks people to wear warm clothes, boots and gardening gloves.
