A 31-year-old man has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a woman pedestrian by careless driving.
Zahir Iqbal, of Sherwell Rise, Allerton, Bradford, will be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on April 11.
His not guilty plea to causing death by dangerous driving was yesterday accepted by the Crown.
Iqbal admitted causing death while uninsured at an earlier hearing.
Judge John Potter imposed an interim driving ban.
Iqbal’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution struck Zakhira Ali on Mayo Avenue, Odsal, Bradford, on March 29 last year.
She died from severe head injuries as she crossed the road towards Morrisons supermarket.
