Students at Woodhouse Grove School in Apperley Bridge have teamed up with older singers across Bradford to record a charity song in aid of the elderly.
Members of the Anchor Community Band gathered at the Apperley Lane school to record their segment of the song.
All the money raised from the sales of the song will be given to national charity Contact the Elderly which organises monthly Sunday lunches for older people living alone.
Woodhouse Grove School’s Director of Music Phillip Tedd said the A-level music technology students were excited about being involved in the production of a possible chart hit.
He said: “This is a great addition to the students’ portfolios as they move on to study music and sound technology at university and beyond.”
