Two skips of rubbish were dumped on wasteland in Bradford and set alight yesterday.
Firefighters from Fairweather Green station were called to the scene off Brooksbank Avenue, Lidget Green, at 1.50pm.
Crew Commander Jav Khan said trade waste and carpets were among the items being burned.
He added: “There was a lot of black smoke.”
