A woman who admitted cruelty to four dogs – one of which died – will be sentenced by Bradford and Keighley Magistrates next month.
Kathleen Crowley, who appeared at the court yesterday, pleaded guilty at a hearing in January to causing unnecessary suffering to one of the animals and failing in her duty of responsibility to all four.
All the offences happened between July and August last year.
The dogs involved were a German shepherd called Obi, which died, and three bull terriers, which were taken into care by the RSPCA.
The court heard yesterday that Crowley, 48, of Canterbury Avenue, Bradford, had severe mental health issues.
Her case was adjourned for probation reports until March 19. She was released on conditional bail and was told she cannot keep any animals.
