Cleckheaton Town Hall will turn red, white and blue for a patriotic concert celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation.
The venue will be decked out in the national colours for the free concert in June.
Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band will perform at the event, with audience members encouraged to dress in red, white and blue.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “The event is organised by The Spenborough Branch of The Royal British Legion and we make no apologies for the fact that it will be a very patriotic afternoon. Hand held flags will be issued to everyone and we expect them to be waved. There will be a collection and a raffle with quality prizes, which will go towards the cost of staging this free event.”
Although the event on Saturday, June 1, is free, tickets are needed from Cleckheaton Town Hall from Monday, May 20.
