Students from the district are making an animated film as part of an exchange project with a German grammar school.
Filming of the final scene will take place in Bradford City Park on Wednesday, March 6, when all the students from Titus Salt School, Baildon, will visit City Hall to meet the Lord Mayor and David Wilson, director of Bradford UNESCO City of Film.
The pupils began the film during a trip to Amandus-Abendroth-Gymnasium in Cuxhaven, Germany, in November. And 22 students and three staff from the German school will pay a return visit to Bradford in March, when they will be joined by professional animators and musicians to complete the project.
David Bunting, lead animator, said: “This is a fantastic way to teach the students about a different country.”
The finished film will premiere at the National Media Museum, Bradford, on Saturday, March 9, at 11.30am.
