A former chairman of Bradford City Football Club has been cleared of assaulting a man in an altercation over ticket touting at the theme park he runs.
Gordon Gibb, 36, chief executive of Flamingo Land, near Malton, North Yorkshire, was accused of attacking Karl Simcock last July – a charge he denied.
The Crown alleged he beat Mr Simcock after claims that a man was selling “two-for-one” tickets near the attraction’s gates without the theme park's permission.
But the case was dropped at Scarborough Magistrates' Court.
