Police yesterday appealed for witnesses to a street attack in which a man suffered a broken jaw in Brighouse late last year.
The victim, whose age has not been revealed, was assaulted as he walked along Huddersfield Road, approaching the junction with Millroyd Street, from the direction of Brighouse.
The incident happened at about 11.30pm on December 28. He was hit from behind and suffered a broken jaw. The only description of the suspect is that he was approximately 6ft tall.
