Yorkshire travellers are seeking out more unusual destinations when jetting off on holiday from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Russia, Morocco and Iceland have been added to Jet2.com schedules to meet the changing tastes of customers.
A spokeswoman for the airline said: “We're finding Yorkshire travellers are wanting more unusual, culture-rich destinations which is why we launched our Discovery Weekends to St Petersburg, Marrakech and Reykjavik in Iceland. These are proving popular.”
“City breaks are continuing to grow in demand, with 10 per cent more people planning a trip in 2013.”
The airline looked at booking data and surveyed 1,000 consumers about their holiday plans for 2013 to produce its annual What’s Hot report.
