Bradford free school group TLG has won a place on a national programme with the New Schools Network.
The group is among 34 groups of teachers, parents and charities to win a place on the national programme designed to provide support for setting up new schools in areas of educational deprivation and submit applications to Government early in the New Year.
TLG is a charity with centres across the country and are looking to convert some of them into free schools.
New Schools Network director Rachel Wolf said: “Every year, we work with hundreds of groups who wish to set up new free schools, supporting them as they prepare their applications to the DfE.
“The Development Programme is intensive, additional support to groups that show particular promise and who are targeting pupils who need new schools the most.”
