THE owner of a music-themed bar hopes he will be in tune with punters when it opens in Bradford.

Wireless Bar is set to open in North Parade in the middle of this month, as the latest addition to a bustling area for bars at the ‘top of town’.

The decor will include old radios and framed concert tickets. The bar will be open between noon and 11pm from Monday to Thursday, and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The bar will have an 138-person capacity and will create four jobs, including for a bar manager.

It will stock a selection of beers, ciders and spirits and include drinks from the Salamander Brewing Company, based in Harry Street, Bradford.

Owner Lee Fergus, 42, who also runs Bradford City’s East Bierley Supporters’ Club, said he was looking forward to opening.

He said: “North Parade is a vibrant and nice area.

“There is a good competition for people up there. It can only be a good thing. There is a good buzz about it.”
