SIR - Former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett couldn't have picked a more ironic opener for his superb set - Clocks!
Steve loved the reminder from the St George's PR team it was FIFTY years since his last visit. I would suggest this refers to his appearance with Genesis and not as a 'solo' performer (1979).
Meanwhile I shall keep my 'Benjamin Button' tribute ticket, originally dated for Saturday, November 14, 2020.
Steve, please don't leave it another 50 years until you come back again. To hear the Seconds Out Genesis classic, lovingly played in full was both mesmerising and emotional. Bravo to all who made it happen.

Still need a 'playing tonight' board outside though. I'll keep wittering about this for as long as it takes - hopefully not 50 years!
