GET your ear plugs out for a loud, proud tribute band.

Stone Deaf Forever is a professional Motorhead tribute, promising a wild night when they descend upon The Exchange in Keighley.

Paul Kelly is on vocals/bass, Neil Mellor on guitar and Mike Ray plays drums.

Motorhead fans will love hearing all their old heavy metal favourites at the Metal Night gig on Saturday.

The band - who have been together for about ten years, with the current line up performing together for two years - is named after Stone Deaf Forever! - the first fully comprehensive box set collection covering the band's career from 1975 to 2002. It was the first box set to be issued with full band approval: the track listing was compiled in association with the band and its fan club.

Paul fronts the band in tribute to Motorhead’s late frontman Lemmy Kilmister.

“I have been a Motorhead fan since I first saw them in 1983,” he says.

The band love playing at The Exchange. “We first played there in 2016 as part of the 'DIOFEST 2' charity night for a local hospice.

“It was such a fun an awesome evening that we are thrilled to be invited back. It was also our guitarist, Neil’s first gig with the band after recently joining and learning the set in double quick time. A great stage and great crowd. It's just our type of venue. It's going to be good and it's going to be loud.”

The band plays a range of Motorhead songs spanning their 40 year history. They playing classics including Ace of Spades, Overkill, Killed by Death, Iron Fist and many more.

Also racking up the decibels that night at the Russell Street venue, is Hell Awaits, with metal tunes old and new.

Punk Crazy Arm is also taking to the stage, supported by The Human Project and Joe Tilston.

Plymouth-based punk folk rock band Crazy Arm promises ‘high energy, awesome songs and an electrifying live show.’

The Human Project’s latest recording Clarion Call is receiving rave reviews. ‘They don’t hold back live and have a perfect balance of technical musical ability, infectious raucous energy and a real sense of melodic punk rock fun,’ says the promotional blurb.

Joe Tilston has a varied collection of acoustic songs that have an energy befitting his place to open for these two heavy-duty punk bands.

On August 18, in contrast, The Low River Blues Band, fronted by Liam Jarvis, performs at the club with its high octane brand of blues rock.

Also performing is Kilnsey Green, winners of this year’s Bingley Music Live Emerging Talent competition, with its own brand of raw, soulful blues.

On August 24 Yorkshire’s very own tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival visits The Exchange. The humorously titled Creedence Clearwater Revival Revival will play two sets of the band’s classic hits and album tracks.
