Members of The Baildon Players are celebrating the group’s 60th anniversary by staging popular farce Run For Your Wife.
The comedy, by Ray Cooney, is about a cabbie called John Smith, who has a wife in Streatham, another in Wimbledon and a knife-edge schedule. The Baildon Players staged it 11 years ago. “It was so successful we decided to revive it to celebrate our 60th year,” said group member Philip Smith.
It runs at St John’s Church Hall, Hall Cliffe, Baildon, until Saturday with performances at 7.30pm. Tickets are from Adress, Browgate, Baildon, or Liz Dearden on (01274) 581892.
