Success was a family affair for a brother and sister who entered a Yorkshire and Humberside painting competition.
Six-year-old Nathan Basson, of Yeadon Westfield Infants, was one of 13 winners picked out of more than 1,500 children who entered the charity calendar competition.
Meanwhile his sister Chloe Basson, eight, of Yeadon Westfield Junior School, was a runner-up in the contest, organised by corporate law firm Walker Morris.
The children’s grandmother Denise Basson, a teaching assistant who runs the art club at the Junior School, organised entries into the competition.
The junior school also won one of the top prizes with ten-year-old Shannon Nolan whose entry was chosen for the month of August.
