CLASSIC car-lovers rallied around last Saturday to raise money for Oswestry's Hope House.

Car enthusiasts took part in the second 'Classics at the College' car rally ran by the charity on Saturday, June 1.

The scenic drive began at the Hope House base in Morda, made its way through the Welsh hills and ended up at Ellesmere College.

For those who didn't have had their own classic car, they could view the fantastic display of classics at the finishing point.

Lynsey Kilvert, fundraiser at Hope House, said: "More than £1,800 was raised on the day.

"The rain mostly stayed away too which is always good.

"It was a really good day – we're already working on a date for next year."
