Cardinal Ltd has been a Bradford-based manufacturer and supplier for 30 years and has completed massive investment, not only in the workspace and machinery, but also its most important assets - its people.

Cardinal employs 172 staff full-time across its offices and manufacturing facilities.

As the needs of the construction industry have changed, Cardinal’s manufacturing has adapted. As part of this it has successfully delivered two different contracts of off-site construction to manufacture a series of modular bathroom pods.

The company has been named a finalist in two national building awards this year.


The family-run motorbike dealer business was established by Joseph Jefferies in 1917 and now covers four generations.

Its ethos revolves around delighting its customers and nurturing its staff to become part of the extended Jefferies family.

These values are evident in the longevity of the employees, the devotion they give to the company and the training and development they are put through to become the very best at what they do.


The family company was launched by Younis Chaudhry in 2009 and has grown from humble beginnings to a multi-million-pound business.

Starting with just 20 employees, Regal now boasts a staff of 120 and a brand new 44,000 square foot manufacturing facility. More than 100 of the employees are people from the local community and has helped boost the economy in an area with high unemployment.

The company plans to increase its staff to 200 in the next year.

Regal was the first Asian confectionary company to be ranked in the top ten confectioners in the UK in 2016 and has gained several awards and accreditations.
