THE Annual General Meeting of the Bradford & District Evening Cricket League will be held on Wednesday, 1st December 2021, at East Bierley Cricket Club, commencing at 7.30 pm.
THE Bradford & District Evening Cricket League is underway, but tinged with sadness, after the withdrawal of John Breare following a 44-year association with the league.
WITH Bradford Evening League Division One champions Ciroc ineligible for finals day this year due to disciplinary reasons, whoever finished second in Division One would play the runners up in Division Two, with the third-placed team in Division One playing the Division Two champions.
DEFENDING champions Ciroc increased their lead at the top of Bradford & District Evening League Division One to three points by moving onto 15 points as they defeated Greenfield by 33 runs, while second-placed Buttershaw St Paul’s were surprisingly well beaten away at John Breare by eight wickets.
BUTTERSHAW St Paul’s moved joint top of the Bradford & District Evening League Division One with last year’s champions Ciroc.
IT WAS a week of shocks in Division One of the Bradford and District Evening League as Ciroc, Crossflatts and Shelf all lost their 100 per cent records.
JOHN Breare put an end to the final unbeaten record in the Bradford & District Evening League as they overcame Hepworth & Idle by just four runs at Westfield Lane, where the Division Two rivals share a ground.
