EGYPT ROAD/DEAN LANE, THORNTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 846) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas works proposed to be executed on or near Egypt Road/Dean Lane, Thornton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Egypt Road/Dean Lane from its junction with Black Dyke Lane to its junction with Allerton Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Lane, Old Allen Road, Black Dyke Lane and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 10th September 2018 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on 17th September 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
