Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, District of Ryedale, Amendment No.18, Order 2022.

Notice is hereby given that on 22/04/22 we made an Order under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified as follows:- (1) Location - Ebberston, Road - Main Street, Side - Both, from its junction with the A170 to a point 18 metres southwards of the centreline of its junction with the A170, Nature of Restriction -Prohibition of Waiting at All Times with Exemptions. (2) Location - Wilton, Road - High Street, Side - Both, from its junction with the A170 to a point 20 metres southwards of the centreline of its junction with the A170, Nature of Restriction - Prohibition of Waiting at All Times with Exemptions. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 02/05/22, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton during normal office hours from 27/04/22 to 03/06/22 & also viewed online at

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 22/04/22 make application to the High Court for the purpose.

Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Broughton Road, Malton, Order 2022, No.100.
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the footway on Broughton Road, Malton due to works. The maximum duration of this Order will be from 16/05/22 until 30/06/22 inclusive, however it is envisaged that the restriction will be in force for 2 weeks during this timescale. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate.
