ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

WALKER ROAD, MENSTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO.1369) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Walker Road, Menston intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Walker Road from its junction with Dick's Garth Road to a point outside No. 10 Walker Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Walker Road (unaffected section), Deny Hill, Main Street, Dick's Garth Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 19th April 2021 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on 7th May 2021 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
