THE A1(M) MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 57) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the A1(M) Motorway, in the County of North Yorkshire, to enable bridge inspection works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start on Wednesday 8 January 2020 for 2 nights, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.
The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the A1(M) northbound exit slip road at Junction 57 (Blackwell Spur); during which times a suitably signed alternative route will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 7 January 2019 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
THE A19 TRUNK ROAD
(TONTINE INTERCHANGE TO
OSMOTHERLEY INTERCHANGE) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the A19 Trunk Road, in the District of Hambleton, to enable junction improvement works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start at 8pm on Monday 6 January 2020 for 3 months, or until comp eted.
The effect of the Order will be, at times during the works, to impose a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the A19:
(i) northbound carriageway from 450 metres north of the A684 Osmotherley Interchange overbridge northwards for a distance of 1380 metres; and

(ii) southbound carriageway from 1350 metres north of the A172 Tontine Interchange overbridge southwards for a distance of

2750 metres.
It will also be necessary, at times during the works, to close the gaps in the A19 central reservation adjacent to the access road leading to Mount Grace Priory, Northallerton. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the restrictions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or special forces vehicles) and prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 5 January 2020 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
