METCALFE Christopher Mary, Danny, John, Mandy and families would like to sincerely thank all family, friends, colleagues and neighbours for their beautiful cards, expressions of sympathy, flowers and generous contributions to Marie Curie Bradford which we received in memory of Chris. We are especially grateful to Dr. Gazeley his G.P., the Springfield Nursing Team, district nurses, Hospice at Home and Marie Curie Nurses who were all truly dedicated to caring for Chris at home. Also all staff at Marie Curie Hospice, your devotion to Chris and us his family was unbelievable. To Father Sean Molloy for his words of comfort to us and for the very personal and beautiful Requiem Mass. To his nephews and nieces, godchildren and Andy, Jack and Jacob who contributed so much to the Mass. Chris would be so proud of you all. We thank all who attended the service which meant so much to us. Chris we are so proud of you and always will be for the dignity you showed, so brave and selfless, still caring for us to the end. God bless, rest peacefully until we meet again.
