CLEGG David Russell Mary and her immediate family wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and heartfelt words expressed to us following David's departure from life. We offer sincere thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who attended David's funeral service, burial and reception. We thank those who sent cards expressing condolences and offering up prayer and masses of remembrance and those who contributed to our photographic corner capturing the milestones of David's life's journey. We thank Father Anthony Jackson for his spiritual guidance and presiding over the funeral service. We thank all those who ensured the service was professional and personal, Dr G Collingwood, reader, Mr D Kennedy, organist and soloist, the church family for their gift of flowers and prayers and to Edwin Pounds and Sons for their efficiency, attention to detail and sensitivity. A special word of thanks to the palliative care nurses and GP's who enabled David to stay at home where he died peacefully in the company of those he loved. To honour David, donations made payable to Marie Curie can still be sent to Edwin Pounds and Sons. Thank you.
