TOMLINSON Robert Paul (Tommy) A proprietor of H Bates Joiners and Funeral Directors. My big brother, a true gentleman with a heart of gold. For everyone you did your best and now you have eternal rest. Your toil on this earth is done and your new journey has begun. Robert we didn't see each other as much as we would have liked. In the end we both made it right. Just like when we were kids, we made our meetings like an adventure, which made it all the more fun. We shared our dreams, plans and some secrets too, just like brothers and sisters do. Our hearts are filled with precious memories that we both gathered through the years. You are my brother not by choice, but by the nature of our birth. I could not have chosen a better one, you were the best on this earth. Even though you were the best at your trade, it took over your life in so many ways. You missed out on the important things because you always had to put work first. You lived your life with little needs. You just needed your tools to carry out your deeds. No one knew the pain you bore beneath the smile you always wore. Your voyage had been rough but you have reached the golden shore where your boat is now at anchor and you are at peace once more. You are now free, to lead your life the way you always imagined it to be. There's a piece of my heart reserved only for you, so when my time comes I will be joining my brother and sister too. A special mention to his many friends and colleagues, who supported him all the way. Thank you.
