ALLATT Sandra On 17th November 2021, peacefully in hospital. Sandra aged 76 years of Micklethwaite. Retired lecturer at Shipley College. The loving wife of Keith, dearly loved mum of Linda and Jason, dear mother-in-law of Philip and Bev, much loved grandma of Olivia, Jordan and Oliver, very dear sister of Mavis. Funeral service will take place at Nab Wood Crematorium on Thursday 2nd December at 10.50am. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be made to Yorkshire Cancer Research, a box will be provided at the crematorium for this purpose. All further enquiries to David C. Sandra,
I last saw you on my 21st Birthday Party. You turned up at the door, wished me “Happy Birthday,” then left, having somewhere better to go. That’s 57 years ago and the last time I met you.
We’ve lived Worlds apart since then but I still remember your happy smiling face. Those rocking days at ‘Harry’s Hop’ and the long walks across Ilkley Moors with a gang of friends now sadly diminished in numbers.
Peter Withers and I, both in Australia, will be represented at your service by one of the old gang, namely Peter Jackson. I hope your husband and family will talk to him and learn about those happy times when we were young.
