BURSTON Doreen (formerly Kellett) On July 21, 2021, Doreen passed away peacefully in Beckfield Care Home aged 86 years, formerly of Wyke. The beloved wife of the late Harold and the late Leslie, a much loved mum of Richard and a dear mother-in-law of Claire, a treasured grandma of Robert and Rebecca and great grandma of Lexie, Cody, Jack and Aaron, a dearly loved sister of Marjorie and aunt of Chris and a good friend to all who knew her. Funeral Service will be held at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland, on Thursday August 12, 2021, at 10:30am. Will friends please meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only but if desired donations may be sent directly to Dementia UK.

So sorry to hear the sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you Richard, Marjorie and the rest of the family. A really lovely woman who will be sadly missed.I had the pleasure of growing up with Richard and the odd night staying over at Doreens house. Fond memories. May the Lord comfort you at this sad time x xx

I was so very sad to hear of the death of Doreen. She and I were very close friends from the first day of starting at Teacher Training College and Maintained this friendship until a few years ago. She was such a lovely person, always did the right thing and loved her family very much. I know her last few years have not been happy ones after she lost Harold but my thoughts and prayers go in particular to Richard and Marjorie at this awful time for all of you.
