JOWETT Benjamin (Ben) Ben, aged 81 years, of Thornton, passed away "reluctantly" but peacefully at Airedale Hospital on February 14, with his daughter Katie at his side. The adored husband of Anita, much loved dad of Helen and Katie, dear father-in-law of Mark and Sean, treasured gramps of Sam, Luke, Harriet and Oscar, proud great-gramps of Arthur, brother of Linda and Steven and a good friend, neighbour and colleague to many. Ben will live on in our hearts forever. Due to the pandemic, the funeral will be held privately. Donations in celebration of Ben's life would be gratefully received by The Stroke Association or Dementia UK.
